What Is Love?

It is a very simple question yet so difficult to answer. Well, it's descriptive but still, people find it hard to interpret. There is no straightforward definition of love. It is very subjective. One could go on to conclude what love is and may still find themselves stuck in a loop of thoughts. Sometimes love isn't crystal clear. It's in the small things people observe about you and do for you. To answer this question one should first look at what love isn't:

• Love won't make you doubt a person multiple times.

• Love isn't just a feeling. It is a person, it is an individual without whom you would feel half.

• Love won't make you leave without answers. It won't leave you wondering throughout the day.

• Love isn't hot and cold behavior. It is intense. It is a thousand words spoken in silence when you are with that one person.

• Love won't ask you to fit into a particular kind of dress code, because it isn't a standard norm. It will set you free and will make you look confident, even in your casual attires.

• Love isn't about insecurities. It's about making bold choices and trusting someone blindly.

• Love is not about pretending to be who you are not, it's about being genuine and raw.

Love is little gestures. It is more than holding someone's hand. It's about feeling the energies getting transmitted when that person is near to you and makes an effort to hold you. Love is telepathy, it is about reading each other's thoughts unintentionally and saying them aloud abruptly. Love is being happy together, no matter how ugly you look in front of someone who wouldn't mind the voice of your laughter. Love is knowing about each other's day, no matter how much fun or worst time one has gone through. Love is knowing their trigger points and also what can make them feel relieved when they are at their lowest. At last, love takes patience. It may involve overthinking and reassurances, but what matters is who is ready to take a step forward to experience it all.
